Mark Ellis was my agent , to sell a Rental Duplex that I had owned for 45 years. When I was mentally ready to put it on the Market, I was discouraged with the Covid scare looming in every one’s mind. Although I had received Market Analysis from three other Agents , Mark was the final  one to give me a Market Analysis. They were all in the same range. He, in a matter of fact way said,  if I put it on the market in early March, he has confidence that there will be a few prospective buyers in two days, because the Market is short on Inventory. Maybe it was just chance, that it was an uncomplicated sale! In the month of closing that ensued, I got to observe Mark at work , dealing with my long-time tenants to open their apartments for Virtual Video showing. I recently purchased a home in the Tumwater area and I had the pleasure of working with Jordan Trapp in finding the home.  I had been interested in moving to the Olympia area from Seattle and had chosen The Northwest Home team as a source.  I filled out the form as to what I was looking for and what I expected to spend.  Jordan sent me many, many listings before I decided I wanted to start checking homes out.  At no time did he pressure me.  I would occasionally get an email from him asking if I had seen any properties that piqued my interest and he left it at that.  When I decided I would start looking at possible homes, I contacted Jordan and we set up a time to meet and I gave him a list of the houses I was interested in.  When I got to Olympia, Jordan was waiting for me with a packet of information and the listings for the homes I wanted to see.  We headed out to the first home and I immediately knew that I had the right agent.  Jordan was very knowledgeable about the Olympia area and was able to answer any questions I had.  When we would look at a house, Jordan again never pressured me.  He let me walk through the houses and ask any questions I might have about the house.  He would point out if there was something about the house that might need attending to, such as the need for a new roof, upgrades, etc.  He would explain different heating systems, windows, etc. and their advantages and disadvantages.  Each time I came down to look at new homes, Jordan was waiting for me and we would immediately head out.  He told me that I would know the right house when I saw it.  I looked at quite a few houses before I finally found one that I decided I wanted.  Once that happened Jordan went through the process of getting me set up.  He found me a lender to finance the house, he found me a very qualified inspector who inspected the house, and after the inspection he dealt with the selling agent to get any discrepancies fixed.  He would go with me whenever we met with anyone that had anything to do with the purchase, to make sure I had backup if needed.  I could not have asked for a better person to work with.  He was very professional but also had a great personality that made it easy for me to ask questions and feel at ease when looking at homes.  I highly recommend Jordan if you are looking for a new home!
